Chain.io Closes $11M Series A Financing to Deliver Better Data Integration and Visibility Across the Global Supply Chain

We created Chain.io because we saw how much the friction in the global supply chain was costing businesses and how it was impeding innovation. After working on visibility platforms directly with large global retailers, logistics providers, and software vendors for over 15 years, we saw how quickly new technologies and platforms were coming to market – and the dire need for those platforms to be able to connect to systems already in place, even 30-year-old legacy or home-grown systems.

The past few years have only reinforced the need to work more efficiently and effectively with trading partners and data providers to improve product flow, reduce operating costs, and establish data integration.

Today, we’re thrilled to announce we’ve completed an $11 million Series A funding round co-led by Fontinalis Partners and High Alpha, with participation from Mercury, Grand Ventures, Eve Atlas, and Waybury Capital. This round of funding will allow us to further expand our network of native integrations that power the global supply chain.

Streamlining Supply Chains

Companies around the globe use different supply chain technologies but must speak the same language to empower global trade. Chain.io makes these connections quick, simple, secure, and resilient. Our integration platform is built for the needs of modern supply chains so that shippers, logistics service providers, and software vendors can quickly and efficiently align on the flow of their goods.

We collaborate with 10 of the world's 15 largest freight forwarders, three of the world's largest Transportation Management Systems (TMS), a slew of cutting-edge software companies, and shippers to connect multiple generations of software, reduce risk and manual data entry, better connect their data with their customers, and ensure supply chain visibility.

We help logistics companies better focus on their core processes by using our pre-built adaptors to manage things like freight visibility, pricing, and compliance risk. Along with incredible adoption within the freight forwarding industry, we work with a huge variety of software providers who offer everything from visibility and booking automation to trade compliance and environmental impact reporting. Our partner network makes it easy for new and existing customers to quickly establish integrations and better manage their supply chain.

Empowering Growth

We’re grateful to our customers, partners, Chain.io team members, board of directors, and investors who have supported us in solving supply chain bottlenecks that impact the global economy.

Chain.io was built by supply chain and logistics experts, so their understanding of the complex processes and details is baked into our technology. As we continue to grow our technical capabilities and team, we’re excited to continue supporting businesses so they can seamlessly integrate any platform in their ecosystem with their partners and customers.
