Flow Adapter Selection Panels
Within Flow Configuration screens, users will notice that when selecting source/destination systems and files, the selection dropdowns have been replaced with modal selection panels.
Why we made the change
With the release of our Open Connect feature a couple of weeks ago, it was necessary to change the UI of the Flow Configuration to compensate for logos and adapter descriptions from third parties via Open Connect. This change also allows us to improve our overall user experience within Flow Configurations by providing more visual space for instruction and support content.
Unlimited Host Systems
All Workspaces now have the ability to create an unlimited number of Host Systems to send and receive data regardless of their license tier.
Why we made the change
Connecting to Host Systems is a central function of the Chain.io portal. Without them, customers are not able to utilize the effective functionality that makes Flow Executions work. We also heard from quite a few of our customers that limiting Host Systems, especially at our lower license tiers, was causing lots of unnecessary issues.
For these reasons, we decided that there was more value in allowing an unlimited number of Host Systems to be set up for all license tiers.
Custom Background Color For Main Navigation
Customers can now change the color of their Workspace’s main navigation background. This setting can be found in Workspace Settings then select Workspace Setup.
Why we made the change
This was simply a cosmetic change, allowing our customers to add a personal touch to their Workspace within the Chain.io portal. A custom color for your main navigation can also make it easier to identify in a screen full of application windows and tabs.
