AS2 Profiles, Host Systems & Integration Connections(Beta)
In this release, we're introducing a powerful new capability that empowers our users to streamline their data exchange processes. Now, users have the ability to set up AS2 Profiles and establish Host Systems and Connections using the AS2 protocol.
AS2 Profiles serve as a critical component, enabling users to configure AS2 Trading Partner IDs along with the necessary Public Certificates. These profiles are the building blocks for setting up AS2 Host Systems and Integration connections. They play a pivotal role in facilitating the smooth and secure transmission of data, whether it's from AS2 Host Systems to their trading partners or between AS2 Connections.

Why we made the change
AS2 is a universally recognized file transfer protocol, widely adopted across various industries that Chain.io serves. By incorporating the AS2 protocol into our system and enabling AS2 endpoints to effortlessly send and receive data within Chain.io, we're significantly expanding the range of options available to our users. This enhancement ensures that our users have the flexibility they need to meet their diverse business requirements effectively.
