24.07.03 Feature Release Summary

Field Change Event Monitor

With this release we have included monitoring of Field Change Events within Flow Executions. This feature allows customers to configure a setting within their Flow Configuration that will monitor fields in the data being processed by the flow. Customers can control which fields key value pairs to observe, and the actions to take when those fields change in their data. To read more about Field Change Events and how to set them up, please refer to our product documentation here.

Why we made the change - Giving customers the ability to keep track of changes in their data, and take action upon that change is a powerful feature. Being informed and automating immediate action can mean the difference between making an informed business decision or dealing with a major problem. This feature ensures you can make adjustments to your process when your customer makes changes to their data.

Improvements to File Viewer

With this release We have made significant enhancements to our file viewer within the Flow Execution detail screens. Previously, the viewer could not process unrecognized files. With this update, you can now view the contents of these files in plain text.

Why we made the change - Context is incredibly important in the logistics and freight industries. Being able to see the content of files processed by Chain.io flows directly within the portal provides a more informative experience. Previously, customers had to download these files to explore their contents. Now, this can be done right within the portal, saving time and providing necessary context.

Quality of Life Improvements

We have implemented several quality of life improvements across the app to help your experience.

  • SFTP User Fix: Prevent multiple clicks of the Add User button
  • SFTP User Fix: Prevent redirect to error page when creating a user fails
  • SFTP User Fix: Show error messages to the user explaining why the creation of a new user fails
